Community Paramedics Home Visit Program
Wednesday, October 23 @ 1:00pm – BHCC Great Room
Hospital rooms are full of people who legitimately need medical attention, but don’t need to spend hours in the emergency ward. There is a new alternative for people with chronic disease. Working with patient’s physician, paramedics will make regular and special home visits to monitor chronic health issues, check vital signs and bloodwork, and help patients understand how to manage their health conditions.
