Travelogues

7:00 PM in the BHCC Great Room.

The next Travelogue is on Monday April 13th.

The showings will be:

• South Africa, Zimbabwe & Madagascar by Midge Facciol.

There is no admission charge, but donations to cover the cost of refreshments are appreciated.

Spring Fashion Show!

In anticipation of this highly attended event, we are putting a call out to our residents to ask the following:

• Any females wishing to model the clothing for the event (and attend a “try on” date about the week before at the store) please send your intent of interest via email to bhcc@rogers.com with the subject Fashion Show. We need approximately 10 in total. No experience required – it is a fun event.
• Any males owning their own tuxedo or formal wear, who might wish to escort our ladies on our runway. We need 3 or 4. Please indicate your interest by emailing the centre at bhcc@rogers.com. Males will only be required the day of the event.

Let’s make this a spectacular sold out event again. Save the date and stay tuned for more exciting details.

BHCC Annual Yard Sale

The date is set so mark your calendars!

Saturday, June 27th

As in the past, we will have spaces to rent for those owners wishing to display and sell their own Good/Used Items or Crafts. Dates for renting spaces will be some time in mid to late May. Keep an eye on eNEWS for those dates and times.

What if you don’t want to have a table yourself? Not to worry – there will be a Donations Sale table(s) for those items you wish to donate. Proceeds from the Donations Table will go directly to the Operating Fund of our Community Centre.

So, get started on your Spring Cleaning and set aside any items that are still in good working condition. No clothing is accepted. All acceptable donations can be dropped off in the East Room on Friday, June 20th between 9 am and 12 noon.

Of course, this Yard Sale will only be successful with the support of our volunteers. If you can volunteer your time the weekend of June 20th to June 22nd, please e-mail:
